Jersey

St Helier Marina July 2009

From Guernsey to Sark for breakfast then on to Jersey, St Helier. On arriving we noticed the red lights and remembered the pilot book rules about not entering the harbour. We turned around and the ferry came out. Soon enough we were into the main part of the marina moored up astern of a 11.5 million pound Sunseeker motor boat. Beyzano looked like her tender!

Whilst we were in Jersey we met up with Rob and Steve’s old schoolfriend, Dave. He kindly took the three of us on a day’s tour of the island, showing us the historical sites, wide sandy beaches and beautiful views. Combined with delicious meals with his family it all ensured this was a very memorable trip.
