London

Not quite Caribbean weather but cold and sunny I can cope with – rain and sleet not so nice.

Umbrella Shop - Perfect!

I met up with 2 of our sons at the weekend in London, also their 2 girlfriends and it was great to see them all again. We went along to a pub in Camden to listen to Elliott playing in his band and we skyped with Owen as it was his 25th birthday yesterday!

London Eye Behind Horseguards

London was busy on Friday but I had a meeting at 1100 so endured what millions endure every day – the commuter train and tube. I have never worked in London but I do enjoy being in the city and wandering around the amazing streets full of stunning buildings, old and new.

'The Gherkin'

Saturday we spent the morning in the Museum of London, learning about the city’s history from when it was a small settlement. Really good displays and best of all, free! I also went to Oxford Street to seek out bikinis but there weren’t too many around and not surprising really 🙂

Admiralty Arch

Rob is still at anchor, Beyzano is safe and sound despite Rob deciding not to ask for help but to leave the dock and anchor on his own. He must be getting bored or hungry now as he made some cakes the other day. Looking forward to returning to them both and the warmth again on Thursday!
