New Header Photos

The photos in our header have been updated, with the help of James, to show Beyzano in her new cruising grounds. They show a beautiful bay in the United States Virgin Islands where we spent a few weeks, Beyzano on a mooring buoy in Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands, the Baths in the BVI and us sailing into Bequia, in the Grenadines.

    Hi Rhian,
Hope you don’t take this the wrong way but, although lovely to see your new header photo’s they are very grainy and have lost the’wow’ factor that I’m sure the originals have, has James uploaded the photo’s at maximum quality or has he had to resize them?, either way their sharpness has been lost somewhere which is such a shame as I’m sure the originals are all crisp and sharp, also the change rate is far too fast, it needs slowing down a lot so we can savour the views! I’m not familiar with your blog facility in uploading photo’s but most uploaders should allow maximum resolution photo’s to be uploaded so as to maintain the originals quality which is what you want in your header pics. Also I don’t know if you are able to follow the antics of the World ARC but some of the pics from the Cocos Keeling Islands are stunning, if able, have a look, on another note when are you returning to Beyzano? I’ll bet you are missing her! In the meantime hope you are both well and are looking forward to your second year of adventure.
    Best Regards,
    Peter.

Thanks for letting us know about the photos, we have forwarded your comment to James and hope he will have some time to look into it. The quality issues may be partly due to the zoom we were using on a fairly average point and shoot camera! We return to ‘the ship’ on Tuesday but hear she is safe and hasn’t been invaded by any unwelcome little pests. A month isn’t really very long, some of our friend’s boats are left ashore for 18 months, so the interior of Beyzano shouldn’t need more than all her sofas and matresses putting back and a big supermarket shop to restock. We hope.
