Merry Christmas!!

Wishing all our family, friends, people who kindly email us and those that follow our blog, a very Happy Christmas whether you are at sea, on a boat or on land!!

Merry Christmas!

Beyzano is decorated, the Christmas muffins are baked and we have a few friends coming over for drinks tonight. The marina is busy with lots of boats sheltering from the high winds and there is a great atmosphere. Yesterday the ‘Carols Afloat’ flotilla of decorated boats and crew motored around the bay playing carols, followed by a party in one of the Boardwalk restaurants.

Old Traditions Brought With Us!

Different Christmas for us this year and we will be thinking of our children and my dad tomorrow whilst we swelter in the heat cooking a traditional UK lunch for probably the last time in many years! The fruit and veg get delivered around the marina by the same man we saw here 5 years ago, in a dinghy with lots of flags, so Rob is still taking life easy, no rushing to the supermarket at 0700 today for us 🙂

Happy Christmas Rob & Rhian, and of course Beyzano! tricky landing for santa but I’m sure he managed, just!!
p.s, what’s going on with the wind? all that motoring at the end of the arc and now you are all sheltering, anyway pointless saying enjoy yourselves over christmas(caribbean style)as I think that’s covered! we look forward to your next phase once you get brave and slip away from rodders. right I’ve just got time to put some Reindeer food out, sleep tight,(all those rattly halyards!!)

    Hi Rob,

Glad you all made it to Rodyney Bay with style and grace! It was a wondrous passage across the Atlantic and we were sad to have to make landfall as the passage was so special. Hope run into you over the winter. Our yacht, Feelin’ Good, is in St. Martin now and we’ll be heading back down your way soon. Hope to catch up with you but in the meantime, have a Happy New Year!
